After a long day of travel, our restless scouts got out of their vehicles and waited for check-in. After confirming out spot at camp, and waiting for way too long, we headed to our campsite; Mount Olympus, which we were sharing with a girl troop.

After unpacking for a bit, one of our troop guides Will took us on a camp tour. Along this tour we stopped at the Camp Parsons pier, where we took our swim test. The swim test was to prove whether or not you were proficient and able to swim or take swim related merit badges. There is three levels of swimmers at Parsons. Non-swimmer, beginner, and swimmer. A swimmer can do anything on the water, a beginner requires intense supervision, and a non-swimmer can't touch the water.

After the swim test, we finished the tour and went back to camp. We unpacked for a while. Later on, our waiters had to report for dinner waiter duty. Waiters set up the meal for the rest of their patrol. After the meal, they help with clean-up before heading to our beach orientation to learn the beach rules. After that, we headed back to camp to get a good night's rest for the days ahead.
