Camp Parsons - Day three! (Tuesday)

Our scouts are slowly getting used to waking up early. It's not a pleasant feeling, but it's not the end of the world. Our waiters reported for breakfast waiter duty. After which we headed to our second day of merit badge classes. Each scout went their separate ways. After merit badges our lunch waiters reported for lunch duty and after lunch we headed off to troop time.

Today for troop time we got to go canoe swamping and candle making for those who were non-swimmers or didn't want to go canoe swamping. During canoe swamping, we were given a canoe to ride in as we paddled out in the water looking for other canoes. Once we spotted one, we paddled towards it and started rocking it very hard in hopes that it would flood with water, otherwise known as swamping. For candle making, our scouts dipped twine wire framing into wax to make shapes to turn into candles.

Eventually our dinner waiters had to report to dinner, and after cleanup our scouts separated for free time. After free time, we collected at Met Jr. for the Camp Parsons music fest, where scouts from different troops got to show off their musical abilities. Finally, our scouts were allowed to rest after a long day of fun.
