Canoe beach is the main area that has oyster shells, and scouts can wear crocs or tennis shoes on the beach and into water craft for best protection. At the swim beach they can wear crocs down to water and take them off. It is not required they swim with them on. Swim socks are a great option if they want to keep them on, but not required.
